International Women's Day To celebrate 2014 International Women's Day ACCF launched a campaign highlighting the importance of cervical cancer screening in Nepal. A $5 donation will enable a women to be screened for cervical cancer and potentially save her life. Click here to watch the video. Australian volunteers come to Nepal to help at the clinic and celebrate 5 years since NACCF was established! On Friday March 22nd 2013, an event was held at the Radission Hotel Kathmandu to mark the 5th Anniversary of the work of the Australian Cervical Cancer Foundation in Nepal. Since 2008, ACCF along with its partner NACCF, has vaccinated over 22,000 girls and have screened thousands of women. Those that have made the last 5 years possible were invited to the event including the then Australian Ambassador to Nepal Her Excellency Ms Susan Grace and the Secretary for the Ministry of Health and Population Mr Praveen Mishra. A fabulous evening was had by all and included very special entertainment. After the formalities of the evening, guests enjoyed classical music by Santosh Shrestha and friends and the amazing Ani Choying Drolma.
